But that was all in the past, now that the QBE Insurance Group has acquired Iron Trades Insurance Company. QBE has written to all customers announcing the closure of Ironsure.com. I am now looking for a new policy for my son's car. Ironsure were charging £148 a year - the nearest online quote I have found so far is £688! Surely another company could have taken over the motor insurance division of Iron Trades Insurance Company? ...
