Advantages: recieved a free mot voucher and oil check
Disadvantages: made me set up a new policy
i've noticed a lot of people have a lot of problems with Kwik Fit, but i must say i've not really experience any, so i have renewed my policy for the second year.
I am 22 so my insurance isn't exactly the cheapest, and i don't expect to have an amazing deal. last year i insured myself on my 1.4 corsa and Kwik Fit came up as the cheapest and it looked like it had the best deal, as i went through a compare website. This year i had a scout about and decided to cancel my contract with them as i thought i could get a better deal elsewhere, however it turned out the best plan would have been to stay with them. I called up Kwik Fit and asked if i could renew my policy i had before but they said i would need to set up a new policy. This was pretty annoying as your 1st installement is always much higher than the other installments. As i was a customer of theirs for the past year you would have thought they would of wanted my custom, but instead they made me set up a new policy. The good thing to come out of it though was, i recieved a free mot voucher and a free oil check with the policy, so not all was bad.
Another good thing i find is you recieve a Kwik Fit card where you recieve 10% of any work done at any of their centres.
Summary: have a look for yourself

- 16/06/09 You might say they are not the worst, but if you have to claim - good luck! You'll need it! |
