Advantages: Simple to follow and good cashback availibility

Disadvantages: The upselling that follows

I have recently switched my insurance to Kwik Fit. As with a previous reviewer, I have yet to make a claim and that is always the acid test of any insurer.

However the good points to date are - Documents all arrived very quickly. The online forms were quick and easy to fill in. The above two points may be obvious but up until now I'd always insured with a high street broker. I was nervous of doing this online but this was simple.

Quidco - decent cashback sum and this was validated and paid very quickly.

The only downside I've found has been the upselling that followed. I got a phone call shortly after taking cover out encouraging me to add extras that I'd specifically said no to. Additionally I've been getting weekly texts encouraging me to buy more features. I know I can stop these and I'm about to, but it's a nuisance.

Overall good so far but the proof will always come when you have to make a claim.
