Applied online for motor insurance quote
Site very slow in comparison to many others tried
Best quote I had received prior to trying "Slow Fit Up" was £305
Price quoted on line was over £600 using same details
Tried 8 or so other companies online
All prices between £305 and £350
Phone calls from KF started next day
Our phone is always on answerphone due to numerous "dodgy" calls
Phone rang about every 20 -30 mins right through to 8 pm
No message ever left
Had phone company trace calls and confirmed all from KF
Sent e-mail message to KF saying "if you want to speak to me leave a message, but don't bother unless you have reviewed your quote to be in line with others"
43 phone calls next day - all confirmed as being from KF
Next day - got fed up and answered one
Guy had no idea why he was calling - said it was in response to me visiting web site
Asked about their quote - he couldn't help - nor could he better it!
Moral od story - Don't bother with Kwick Fit unless you want to pay way over the odds and like the sound of your phone ringing
P.S. Got insurance for under £300 from another company
