I have recently changed my car insurance to Kwik Fit, after a lot searching the internet for quotes they came out on top for the best price and for what the policy covered. I have read a few reviews and some people don't seem to rate Kwik Fit very highly, I have not had to make a claim yet so cannot comment on what they are like for claiming but ...

i've noticed a lot of people have a lot of problems with Kwik Fit, but i must say i've not really experience any, so i have renewed my policy for the second year. I am 22 so my insurance isn't exactly the cheapest, and i don't expect to have an amazing deal. last year i insured myself on my 1.4 corsa and Kwik Fit came up as the cheapest and ...

Not happy with kwik fit insurance at all.
I was contacted by kwik fit as my current insurance was due to exopire and i had been shopping around (these online companies pass your details on as i am sure you are all aware when you do a bit of shopping around). Their deal sounded quite good, and they informed me that they would send through paper work for me to sign if i was happy with the insurance and send back to them. Foolishly i supplied my bank account details to kwik fit insurance over the phone.
When the documents came through i actually found they were more expensive than my current insurer, so i never signed the documents or sent them back. I have since discovered i now have a DD set up and monies are being taken from my account by kwik fit!

my girlfriend cancelled her insurance by phone, which i witnessed, before it was due to be renewed for another year. a few weeks later she recieved a letter saying the direct debit hadnt been collected from her account. after a phone call to explain the situation, they refused to accept the insurance was cancelled and are now harassing her for £79 for insurance she never recieved or asked for. they are now using a debt collection agency to harrass her further. both companies have been sent letters explaining, and various phone calls which they refuse to acknowledge, her mum and myself have also phoned them, but they still continue to cause distress. they are a disgusting company in my opinion, and should be avoided at all cost.

Was a happy Kwik-Fit customer for 18 months until I changed my car, my current underwriter was not able to offer cover for my new vehicle so was told my policy would have to be cancelled and a new policy taken out with a different underwriter - losing 6 months no-claims bonus. The new underwriter's quote was £400 more expensive than available elsewhere so I told them that I would not be taking it out. The then told me I would have to pay a £50 cancellation charge! I explained that the policy cancellation was absolutely not my fault but no amount of explaining would make them waive the charge. They then would not release my proof of no-claims until I had cleared the balance, holding my bonus for ransom. Disappointing behaviour indeed. Have lodged a formal complaint and will follow it through to FSA if needed.

I have found Kwik Fit insurance to be very incompetent and disorganized. There would be some problem every year. prices were good initialy. Hence I have now moved all my insurance.

Kwik Fit Insurance???? They actually do insurance??? YES!!! I was previously with elephant.co.uk (check out my review of them) and decided to do a little bit of a shop around to find a deal and a deal I did find. After going on an insurance comparison site (moneysupermarket.com and confused.com) Kwik Fit came up as one of the ...

I stayed with Kwik Fit insurance for 2 years. But never again. You never know how good an insurance company is until you need to claim. I ran into the back of someone else and therefore I needed to make a claim. Firstly, the car was undrivable in a rough area where that type of car would disappear in minutes if it was left. ...

I got a quote from Kwik Fit Insurance Services of £547.77 online for fully comp. I rang up and took up the quote and paid with my debit card. Now I have checked my bank statement and they have charged me £577.77 - £30 more! I will be ringing them up again today to ask what is going on and for a refund.

I have used Kwik-Fit insurers for the last 3 years and have found their staff to be very helpful. When my car was damaged they couldn't have been more helpful. When I was offered a lower quote they bettered it. Service to me has been first class.

I am not about to defend Kwik Fit Insurance Services, But I am really upset to read these reviews, I would like to state that KFIS has over 300,000 delighted customers. It amazes me that people will spend time writing these reports on this website without doing there home work. There are only a handful of reports available for KFIS on this website ...

We had been insured with Kwik Fit for three years and after reading other members horror stories felt it was my duty to extol their virtues. When our insurance came up for renewal earlier this year we decided to shop around see if we could get a more competitive quote, we were successful and called Kwik Fit to see if ...

I was with Kwik-Fit motor insurers for 3 years, and over that time they frustrated me with their terrible service. The reason I went to them in the first place was that they offered me a reasonable quote, and I could pay by monthly instalment. However, it was hard to clarify over the phone how much exactly you were to pay. You would ask them ...
