Churchill Insurance ... have today renewed my car insurance with churchill so I thought why not do a little write up on it! Perfect timing! I have now been with churchill for 2 years for my car insurance and 1 year for my house insurance. I am a big believer in shopping around and making sure I get the best deal, I was suprised that for 2 years now churchill have been cheaper, which is great and result in less hassle swapping. Unfortunately on the cashback websites that I use I couldn t find churchill so I couldn t get any cashback by shopping online. Zurich Insurance Company ... Care Award - Pah - it s non-existant! It would seem that Zurich still haven t done anything about improving the training of their call handlers. I was recently hit by a Zurich-insured driver and although the initial response was good it has rapidly gone downhill. Miscommunication & failure to disclose essential information has left me without a courtesy car whilst mine is being repaired. I have spent a good deal of money, (0870 numbers) and about 6 hours of my time doing their job for them today. Kwik-Fit Insurance ... have had Kwik-fit insurance for the past 1.5 years. Disadvantage - The premium goes very high if you change your address. I had to take a new policy from kwik-fit itself to save money ( they were still the cheapest ). Advantage - Excellent claims service. I had an accident few days ago. It was not my fault, so it was a non-fault claim. Here is what happened - 1.) Accident - a guy hits me from behind, the rear bumper is damaged. 2.) I call kwik-fit to report it - Albany assistance is the company that handles claims. It was a long 15 min call to report it.
