cwld17 Kwik-Fit Insurance: ... renewed my car insurance last year with quick fit, it seemed too good to be true, they offered me a good rate and a free MOT when it was due. I had done all the comparison sites and it did seem to be one of the best. I bought a new car 3 months later - they charged me nearly £40 extra "admin charge" and then another £20 a month to add my husband to the policy. I thought this was a rip off but I was tied ...

ktbainbridge Tesco Car Insurance
... price comparison sites came out for car insurance I had to do my own shopping around. I remember it used to take ages, but each year I was always better off with Tescos insurance, and not by a little bit, it was by a lot. This year, when Tesco sent me my renewal notice I decided to check out a price comparison website, for the first time to see if my renewal deal was as good as I thought. It was! This was quite a sad fact as it meant I wasnt going to save any money, but it reinstated the thoughts in my head that I was with the best insurance. I decided to do a little experiment anyway on went on the tesco website to check out the tesco value insurance. It was cheap...

mizzy Endsleigh Insurance
... have had a student possessions policy and a musical instrument policy with endsleigh for 3 years now. The musical one costs around £40 a year for my flute, and thankfully I have not had to make a claim with this one. I got burgled in my 2nd year, and had to claim for all my things like handbag and cards. My handbag was quite expensive and the process to make a claim was very easy. I got a police number, then phoned the claims number for endsleigh. I was then talked through what I needed to do next and was given a reference number to call when I had done this. I had to write a list of everything that was stolen, and the value next to it and email it in. I then got a...

Blair Direct Line
... a young driver, i started at the age of 17, occasionally driving my father cars "whilst building my own no claims discount". Its now 2 years down the line, and his decided to give me the car for my 19th birthday. In a perfect line of thought, after having 2 years on his policy, and then this year coming on my own policy, i was fully expecting to leave with 3 years no claims.. However, ive im now going to leave with 1 years no claims, and a "documented 2 years good driving certificate". Unless i can find an insurance company that will recognise this, its not worth the paper its written on. Its been a waste of my time, and my friend who started of...
