CAR INSURANCE / AA / NORWICH UNION DIRECT
The proud owner of a W reg Toyota Yaris, GS 5dr, which cost £8k, worth £6.5k now. As I’m only 19 – insurance premiums are very expensive.
Last year I insured with AA, for me, my mum, dad, with legal and courtesy, and an excess of £500. The premium £1400.
This year it came up for renewal (they reminded me 3 days before!) and it had gone up to £1800, even though I now had a years no claims bonus!
I looked around, and Norwich Union Direct offered the same service for £960. (including a £50 pass plus discount).
My advice to you, check out Norwich Union Direct (www.norwichunion.co.uk) and avoid the AA.com!

It is a mine field with car insurances, I find going to an insurance broker is quite a good way to get a good deal, they then do all the running around, and you dont have to accept what they find you can go elsewhere.
