I have been with Norwich Union Direct for a number of years, and assumed that, like with all insurance companies, the only way you tell if they work well is if you have to make a claim.

To cut a long story short, I was involved in a motor accident when a car drove into me on my motorbike. Although I was largely undamaged, save for a few bumps and bruises, the bike was a write off.

To my great pleasure, and relief, not only did I get a cheque for the value of the bike, and a fair and reasonable offer at that, very promptly, but also they got me nearly £2000 in compensation.

Summary:
