Also, the price was very appealing - usually £19.99 from Maplin, but were reduced to £9.99-ideal for the bargain conscious! They are like your average gloves, but are battery powered to provide you warmth through the embedded heating wire. They take 3 AAA batteries in each glove, which can take a bit of getting used to - but in no time, I found that the gloves became like a second skin. 	Oxford SPORTS PANNIERS ... have owned the Oxford sports humpback panniers for a few years now. I have used the panniers on two diffrent motorcycles now (a 600cc sports bike and a 1000cc sports tourer) and found them to work well with both bikes even though they are completely different shapes. The bags are easy to fit (though can be a challenge when they are full) with one velcro strap going under the pillion seat and two going over. The packs come with a range of straps and bungees. Each bag has numerous points to which you can attach the straps and bungees to, all that is left is finding bungee points on the bike (the footrest and indicators work well if not). 	Motrax Micro Bar End Mirrors ... s face facts - mirrors on motorcycles look awful. There it is, a sleek, powerful, sexy machine and then a pair of "mickey mouse" ears stuck on it that look unsightly. Owners of faired sports bikes don t have it as bad as the owners of un-faired bikes, like me. A full fairing provides a foothold on which to bolt on a pair of mirrors. However, the mirrors are usually set so the rider can see most of its arm and elbows and a tiny slither of the road behind, and being virtually un-adjustable, the view is not easily changed.
