danimal Oxford Expander Sports Tankbag: ... only been biking a few years and had never used a tank bag before when I had the opportunity to buy one of these at auction. At first I found it a bit of a pain compared to a ruck sack, but it quickly grew on me. It's more hassle having to attach it to the bike (although it only takes seconds) than a ruck sack is, and when refuelling it takes slightly longer but these are minor niggles really. For com...

danimal Hein Gericke PSX II jacket
... bought this jacket in the colours shown in the photo here mainly because I wanted a jacket with elbow, shoulder and back protectors and that matched my charcoal helmet I'd bought in a sale previously. The jacket has a sporty feel and does zip up to form a two piece if you buy suitable trousers to go with it. It looked good when I got it but being a bit lazy I haven't looked after it quite as well as I ought to so has started to look a bit tatty and grubby. The white panels of leather seems to wear off slightly if you wear a ruck sack often. As a day to day biking jacket it's pretty good - it has two internal zip pockets than easily fit a phone and wall...

philmatthews OGK Aeroblade
... I moved up to my first 'proper' motorcycle, I decided to upgrade to a slightly more creditable option than my learner budget lid. The OGK Aeroblade caught my eye straight away. It was styled like a crash helmet that you would expect to pay double its RRP for. After trying it on, it appeared to fit perfectly. I was also tempted by the facility to add tear off visor strips (although these are fairly expensive, so they tear off and go into my pocket...) It took a mere fortnight for the first problem to show up. After a spell of bad weather, I removed the visor to clean it. It was easy to remove and clean but when I reattached it, it was no longer flush agains...

r2d691 Arai Quantum F
... my experience Arai make one of the most comfortable helmets in the world. I have been riding for over seven years now and one of indisputable facts is that rider comfort will affect how well you ride. It s easy to understand that if you are cold and wet you will not react as well to situations than if you are warm and dry. A comfortable helmet will also have an impact although it can be less obvious. In my opinion a helmet should fit snugly all the way around your head, there should be no area of your head which feels like it s being pressed in by the helmet. The chin strap should be exerting a gentle downward pressure on the whole helmet preventing it fro...
