I have been 'locked out' of my bike by a new Abus steel-o-flex granite lock which has grade 10 security. The key would not fully insert despite lubrication. Abus have refused to uphold the guarrantee, claiming it was not lubricated properly. It most certainly was! I insist the lock was faulty, it happened again after it was professionally removed. Cycle Express have been brilliant and have agreed to replace the lock with a new one but they shouldn't have to lose out for the fault of Abus. They say it is not the first time Abus have refused to uphold a warrantee. And I have had to pay a security firm to get the lock off my bike out of my own pocket. ...
