      Advantages

      Disadvantages

I have had my AGV V-10 for over a year and I think it's great. I bought it for two reasons - it's a reasonable price at £169 without being so cheap that it seems dodgy, and it was only one of two helmets in the shop that felt comfy on my XL sized head. The other cost £400 so it was a pretty easy choice. The fit is almost perfect for my head shape, I can wear it all day before it starts to get a bit uncomfortable. There is not much wind noise. The chin and brow vents work pretty well and are easy to operate while wearing gloves. The quick-release visor is easy to remove and replace once you've figured out what the badly translated instruction sheet is trying to get at. The designs are good - I have the Patriot and it's nothing if not striking. The V-10 is also pretty light considering how cheap it is. My only gripe is that the lining isn't removable but if it was there'd be no reason to buy AGV's dearer helmets. The V-10 is great value and would certainly suffice as a first helmet.
