Alpinestars Supertech Boots ... do not think that there is anything dafter than seeing a rider on a motorcycle without the correct safety equipment, I am an avid rider and would not be without mine, it is designed to save your life and has saved mine a few times. These boots cost me £169.99 and are exceptionally good quality. Most bike boots are realy uncomfortable and wholst I wont say that these are the comfiest foot wear I have ever worn they are certainly not as uncomfortable as most bike boots. Sidi Strada Tepor Boots ... tried several other manufacturers' similarly-styled boots, finding all just too loose around my arch/instep, probably because my feet are narrow for their US-sized 11&1/2 - 12 length. I was shopping for Sidi On-Road Sympatex boots, because of their "The Road Warrior" look, but fit was loose as well. Same story for other more race-oriented Sidis. Hein Gericke PSX II WP ... boots are excellent! I didn't know they were waterproof when I bought them - I wasn't expecting them to be for the price, but after a few journeys when it chucked it down I noticed that my feet remained bone dry. The looks and price were what first attracted me - I bought the plain black pair with a slight carbon fibre type pattern on them. They are very very comfortable and have armour at the shin and ankle, and plastic sliders at the toe and top of the boot. After a year of using them almost every day they are showing little sign of wear. I was expecting the velcro zip covers to be the first thing to go, but they seem to be as good as new. The only a...
