Caberg Just One ... I first saw the price of the Caberg J1-Plus, it looked too good to be true. But a closer inspection produced no quality or design defects as compared to helmets costing 3 times as much. Fit is a very personal thing. I dearly wanted an AGV V-10 patriot helmet: until I tried one on that is. The J1-Plus suits me fine, with adjustable cheek pieces and a good strap-lock. The opening face does not suit all, but I find it really useful for when you need to talk to someone or even inspect your clothing up close.The chin mounted catch can be operated with the index finger of either hand and the mechanism operates smoothly without dragging the helmet all over my head. HJC AC-10 Stinger ... have now completed a good few miles using the AC-10 Stinger. Generally a very comfortable helmet and my comments are mainly positive but for one major problem, the flipping visor. The shape and colour works very well. Classic flame/fire stripes create a striking and very acceptable paint job. On first wearing the AC-10 Stinger lid pushing past the chin cover can be an uncomfortable experience. There are sharp edges that scrape the temples. These can cause problems when taking the helmet off also. Once on the AC-10 Stinger helmet is very comfortable with removable side supports that look as if they can be washed, a great innovation. A major problem with the A... AGV Q 3 X-Vent ... X-Vent is one of AGV's most popular helmet designs, it's placed just below it's top of the range EVO and shares many of it's more expensive siblings features. The helmet's shell is constructed of Advanced Composite Fibres and utilises AGV's TAC System (Total Air Control) with six air flow ports for ventilation.
