Motrax KPH converter:
... I bought an Italian import Honda CB 500,the dealer kindly attatched horrid MPH stickers to the speedo. I bought the Motrax gadget before collecting the bike. It took much longer to remove the literally tacky stickers than to fit the shiny blue thing twixt speedo and cable! Has been working perfectly for just over a year now . I am thinking of getting another Italian (Yamaha TT350), And will not hesitate to spend... Read the full review: fit and forget! by jurek |

Dunlop K627 ... tire is a good choice for those who ride mid-sized cruser style motorcycles and on occasion travel back roads. It rides smooth on paved roads and grips well for a street tire in dirt or gravel. My tire balanced with a very small amount of weight and with about 4000 miles seems to wear like iron. The cost is within reason for a brand name tire. On the downside it is a heavy tire. It also has a very stiff sidewall, you will need to lube the rim to install the tire. ... Continental ContiForce Motorcycle Tyres ... tires were used on a 1995 triumph speed triple. front 120/70-17, rear 180/55-17 at 34 psi. this is a heavier moderately powered (97hp) bike used for aggressive sport-touring and commuting. have 4100 miles on them and the rear is almost done for, average wear. paid $177 us delivered, as cheap as it gets= excellent price. bike handles great. stable at all angles, no weave, wobble, etc at any speeds up to 125mph(as fast as ive pushed them) good feedback. have read that these tires work good on these type (heavy, moderate power)of bikes, very happy with them will buy again. if your bike is similar consider them. if you race, or have a high horsepower bike there are bette... Dunlop D404 ... was difficult to find two different sized tyres of the same type to fit the rear 15x2.75 rim and the front 18x1.6 rim of my 1996 Yamaha XV250 Virago cruiser motorbike. However, the Dunlop D404, also known as the cruiser tyre, had the two sizes necessary, with a 130/90-15 rear and a 3.00-18 front which matched the original specifications. Priced at $200 for the pair, the tyres have a nice chunky tread and suit the bike. They look as though they would perform well in the wet with staggered longitudinal groves around the tyres and angled cross groves. I have ridden 75km in the dry with them so far and initial impressions are favorable with good handling and a comfortable...
