The engine bars mount (depending on your bike) directly to the frame or other "hard" points. They are usually formed to create a "cage" around the engine when fitted. The idea is that these bars are the first thing to hit the deck in a spill and absorb most of the energy by bending - thus saving the expensive bits from any harm. Not only will the bars save on big repair bills, but should the worst happen they will hold the bike off the ground which may mean that you won't be trapped by the machin... Pillion Pal ... products are so blindingly obvious, and the need is so great, you often marvel at your own stupidity in not doing something about it before. One such motorcycle accessory is the Pillion Pal. This is simply a webbing belt with large rubber handles covering your own love handles. Put it round your waist, click the buckle fastener (similar to rucksack fasteners) adjust to size and ask the pillion to hang on tight. The handles are big enough to accommodate any size of pillion gloves and the rubber coating is very easy on the hands. Previous to using this simple product, my wife had to artificially dislocate her shoulder (like Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon) to rea... Read the full review: Biker Love Handles by Mudster |

Continental ContiForce Motorcycle Tyres ... new ContiForce tyres have a nice profile and warm up quite fast, tyre wear seems OK at the moment and they handle OK except that they are a little 'skittish' over white lines in the wet and since fitting them the bike has a very slight weave at _very_ high speeds, nothing dangerous but still noticeable. The major factor in trying these tyres in the first place (No not because my brother works for Continental!) is the price, at around £130 for a complete set, they cost about the same price as a single Bridgestone or Dunlop rear! And so represents great value for money. ... Read the full review: Very good Value for Money by RigsVille |
