Suzuki Burgman 400 ... is the second Burgman AN 400 I have owned, the first was a 2003 model and I was the second owner from new, having not riden bikes of any kind for a number of years due to illness it was a pleasant experience to find such a comfortable and responsive scooter/bike, 12 months later I took the Burgman to Catalonia, and through to Barcelona, on holiday visiting my children on holiday in the Pyrenees, the bike fully loaded with camping gear and all my other kit never missed a beat and did a total of 3,200 miles in 14 days, the only down side I have found with the previous and my current AN400 (2006) model, is the difficulty in removing and cleaning the drive belt cooling f... Honda CB1000 ... some reason the CB1000 has never hit it big here in the states, but I own a 1995 model and a 2007 Yamaha R6. I ride the CB1000! It has 37K miles and shows no signs of going south. What is surprising is how much fun it is to ride in town, mine is geared such that it jumps from the red lights like it is shot out of a slingshot. All the comments about not letting it fall over are accurate. And if you are vertically challenged like I am, then just hope you do not find yourself in this position as it will be quite comical to motorists as they ride by. Aprilia RS250 ... have owned my RS250 from new since 1996, in that time I have done over 15,000 trouble free miles, I have thrashed the life out of it almost every time I ride it, in the past I have used it for commuting in all weathers, on a 600mile + rain soaked trip to Assen it never missed a beat, it is now however semi-retired as a classic and only gets out now and then. In the 13 years I have owned it it has cost me a front brakelight switch, 1 set of rear pads( yes the fronts are the originals! ), two sets of plugs two batteries one chain and sprocket kit and three sets of tyres, it has never had a rebuild of any kind although I admit it should probably have one in the interest of...
