Aprilia RX 125:
... is a nice bike to ride on the road. It handles very well. I bought one six weeks ago and have run it in well. I took it off road for the first time the other day and burnt the clutch out. I wasn t doing anything I haven t done before. I had a YZ 125 not so long ago and that never failed. The RX has plenty of power for the road but I don t really think it has enough power to be climbing steep stoney climbs off roa... Honda CG125 ... History: The Honda CG 125 has been around since the mid 1970 s and has been manufactured in both Japan and Brazil. It is a well known tool for learners and those looking for cheap two-wheeled transportation all over the world. One of the main reasons for it s original design (and ongoing success) is that it was conceived as a simple and rugged bike for developing countries. This, however, has benefits for those in developed countries, as the bike remains a steadfast, basic and rugged bit of kit. It met it s end in Europe in 2008/2009 thanks to ever-tightening emission laws although there are still many used examples around for the prudent buyer on a budget! Of cours... Triumph Daytona 955i ... was not in the market for a new bike when I first came across the Triumph Daytona 955i. It took me good day to head back to the bike shop and go for a test ride. Sold. It was a mint 02 plate with 4000 miles on the clock. I was not out long for the test, but the quality of the ride was great. I wanted a bike that would be more comfortable than my GSXR 600 SRAD and have more mid range. The engine is a peach, oodles of torque from the off. The revs build quickly with a broad range of power. It is a three cylinder, gives you the tyre shredding torque similar to a v-twin, while being able to rev and deliver horsepower like a four cylinder. The sound is awseome, fit ... Piaggio Vespa PX125 ... s something oh so irresistible about Vespas. If it s either its Retro design, or the nostalgia factor from having one when you were a teen, the Vespa is a classic. And we love it. I got my Vespa PX last year after a 12 year love affair with them, admittedly not knowing anything about them bar they were cosmetically pretty, I had a mild panic attack when having to face its gears and clutch. Within the first weekend of owning my Vespa I d stalled it about 100 times, fallen off it, popped an accidental wheelie, almost ran my Dad over.. twice and been given the two finger salute by a very angry looking Lady in a people carrier. Although I believe she was just jealous... Read the full review: Vespa PX125 by Cinny91 |
