Aprilia RS50:
... bought my Aprilia RS50 1999 model the other. At first it wasnt running but i replaced the spark plug, charged the battery and sorted out the choke. I was amazed at first with the sound, wow when you get it up to like 8000 revs it sounds awesome(with out a race can). Cagiva Raptor 1000 ... have owned an 01 raptor 1000 for two tears now and all in all its been a very good bike. I first of all got one because of the low seat height, as i m 5 2" its a very good advantage. i ve been riding for 7 and years and wanted something with a bit of punch and this bike was ideal. The motor (suzuki TL1000) is amazing, it s in my opinion one of the best v-twin motors out there, good amount of power without being scary and a good dollop of torque. its fast enough for a naked bike anyway. The handling is a little suspect for me but i think this is because of my lack of weight (8st), the suspension is little firm and with no adjustment its hard to alter. having said... Suzuki GS125ES ... one purely to pass my test on, had it for a while, and then did pass my test on it. Hasn t let me down once, starts everytime, no matter what weather or how cold it is, and i bought this bike in november, it is now january, and i have not stopped riding it once. Comfy and fun to ride, cheap, very good on fuel and looks quite nice too. A brilliant bike, everyone should own one. I love mine, and although originally my intention was to sell it after i passed my test, after actually passing and owning this bike i was going to do no such thing. Harley-Davidson 883 ... sportster has to be the best motorbike i have ever ridden. It handles like a dream whatever the road or weather conditions. The engine sounds great and pulls away like a train. If you have a stage one engine upgrade and straight through slash cut exhausts fitted they you unleash all the horses available. Further upgrades are available if you require further power upgrades. It is a comfortable bike cabale of cruising all day. Expect about 44 miles per gallon. So roughly around 200 miles from a tank. To further enjoy the bike it is worth joining the local HOG chapter (harley owners group). This allows you to enjoy the social side to enjoying a harley. It truely is a way ...
