Kawasaki GT750 ... have owned my 1990 G reg Kawasaki for nearly two years.I bought it off a guy who couldnt ride it anymore due to serious knee operations!.The bike has 7 previous owners and its at a genuine 25,000miles and nearly all previous Mot s came with it.Apparantly the owners before him where motorcycle examiners, who just rode it to the test centre and then used the DSA bikes. But even though my Gt has had a quite peaceful life, it was still subject to a bit of butchery and neglect.The front right calipier was completely siezed,and the lefthand was starting to gum up too!!.So i stripped and rebuilt the calipiers- but i still have problems as someone has crossthreaded the blead ni... Other Yamaha... ... it in March 2005 - done 6,000 miles in 6 months. Loved them all! MCN etc say no middle range - then ride around it you suckers!!! They say it s not right for new bikers - then let them buy a tame Bandit 600 then and wait till they can handle this bike. At £4699 OTR with great looks, and stonking performance (if you know how to find it AND USE IT!) then this bike must be one of the bargains of the year. I was hoping that they would follow suit with the FZ1 (1000cc) - looks like Yamaha have stuffed up again and made it too hi-tech and way too expensive at around £8000 - at that money I know what I will be buying next and it won t be an FZ1. Gilera Runner 125 ... my pre registered SP125 in Sep 2003,itis in Carbon Grey and Black (like some of the 4Strokes).Top speed is 70mph and because i do alot of miles out of town i get 65-70 mpg.I love my scoot and have covered nearly 27000km in 2 years and it has always started 1st or 2nd push on the starter button. At first there were problems with rearlight/indicator wiring,the wiring was hanging exposed to the elements just under the bottom of t he oil tank, itucked it away under the side panel, problem solved! I`m on my third rear and second front tyres, i`ve lost count of how many times i`ve treated the exhaust to black heat resistant paint(get it a stainless steel one next Spri...
