Honda+CG125 Honda CG125
... my test over 10 years ago and have had several bikes, I have also done over 10,000 miles on the bike, including many trips between 150 and 250 miles in a day. I have also been reading everything I can about the Honda CG125 and other makes and models of 125cc bikes, including magazine and owners reviews and reports. I can honestly say, I would not buy any other make or model of 125cc bike. If my Honda CG125 was stolen tomorrow and I won the lottery, I would buy another Honda CG125 for the town/city and winter work, and a 500cc or larger bike for everything else. The Honda CG125 is far from perfect, but all the other makes and models of 125cc have far greater faults,...

christopher+bannister Aprilia RS50
... race can and sounds amazing, it has been mistaken by riders at bike meetings as being a 125 and even a 250, when brought standerd/derestricted is very very reliable and does about 60mph as it redlines in top gear. Once you start chasing performance, the bike stops bein reliable, my bike is for fun not transport and has a 80cc kit, 24mm carb, race reed valves, race crank, race bearings and race exhaust, it is very very fast and does about 80mph at the redline, however breaks down every week or so. if you want a fast fun bike the rs50 is a great way to start bikeing, and is really good relaible bike for comuting, however if you want a very fast bike do not buy, once t...

Vee+Reece Triumph Thunderbird Sport
... more than 150 miles but by that time the T-bird is ready for some gas and you'll welcome the chance to get off and walk around a bit. It has a tendency to slide you forward toward the gas tank so watch out for the crown jewels when braking hard. The seat is also extremely difficult to take off and put back on. It thrives on twisty roads, carving corners as well as many sportbikes and will outrun most crusiers. It revs strong starting around 4000 rpm up to the redline and puts out that great Triumph-triple sound while doing so. I've also found the brakes to be quite adequate. The mirrors aren't very good unless you enjoy staring at your own shoulders and could stand...
