Triumph Trophy 900:
... is the true essence of what a sport touring motorcycle should be. I have owned a 1996 Triumph Trophy 900 for a couple of years now and I just love the bike. It is easy to pack up and take off on long trips. Half the fun of riding the 900 triple model is the sound of the engine. I sounds just like an exotic european supercar. It is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you ride it. The bike is just so smooth to... Honda CBR600F ... Honda CBR was and still is my first bike, after 2 years of passing I still have the same CBR only because it has never let me down. It gets ridden to the redline every time its out and it never fails. I passed my direct access 2 Julys ago, 3 days later a group of friends and I went a light hearted run, and it turns out I wasn t up to scratch and I crashed shattering my left elbow and doing the same to my right wrist, but the bike... had a grand total of a broken wing mirror and a cracked side fairing from the crash. Now I have to admit I was expecting more damage to the bike but these bikes are so well built and so sturdy that s the reason its still here with me and ... Piaggio Vespa ET4 ... have owned a 2005 Vespa ET8 150cc for a couple of years now. The ET8 is a re-badged ET4. Four is considered unlucky by some cultures and the eight is lucky. She is the ideal city scoot and is my daily ride around bumper to bumper Auckland roads. The benefits of biking far outweigh any draw backs. Being the first at the lights and free parking almost everywhere is awesome. Even the Harley riders envy me in the city. Vespa is Italian for Wasp. Riding a Vespa really does feel like flying a fighter through the city. In a congested town its the best way around. The direct drive leader engine launches me off the line at lights and gets me out of trouble when a boost of ... Read the full review: It is like flyiing by Paul Kendon |

Honda VTR1000 SP-1 ... it, rode it, bought it. That was me 6 months ago when I saw this bike in a dealers close to home. I d been after a good one for a loooooong time. 6 months in, and the butterflies are still there everytime I open the garage door ! Once you set up the suspension to suit you style and weight, (and believe me you need to, to get the best out of the bike), The riding experience is extremely rewarding, except around town. The SP-1 s fuel delivery and low speed manouvreing are not the greatest, but then again, that s not what you re buying one for is it ? Get it out on the open road and you won t stop grinning until you have to put it away again. The handling is superb, the ... Read the full review: Honda SP-1 by Firestormmike |
