Advantages: too any to list
Disadvantages: errrrm.
This is the ideal bike for any 16 year old looking to get out and about. It is good looking and is available in a variety of colours. It has six gears (clutch and toe ‘n’ heal) and is one of few; 50cc sports bikes available and probably the best. To ride this bike at 16 it must be restricted to slow it down. If it is not restricted it is capable of speeds of up to 65mph. The rs50 is quite pricey at over £2000 new but second hand ones can be picked up from anywhere between £800 to £2000. The Aprillia rs50 is capable of over 60 miles to the gallon, which comes in quite handy with the current fuel prices. You can find out more information at http://www.rs50.com

- 25/06/07 I Have a sym dd50 (it's a honda dio50 just rebadged), i put a compatible unrestricted can onto it costing me 30 quid, a bigger jet (110 jet costing me 2 pound) a k&N air filter (9 quid) and i de-restricted the variator (using a pair of pliars to rip the washer off without dismantaling the variator :D, and my little moped has been clocked doing 70mph, i overtook a rs50 the other day, my m8 has one and his will do 55 flat out and does 20 to the gallon, my ped does 70mph and has dun 80 to the gallon (fount this out wen i did a 130mile drive constant down the a1 at 70mph, reason it stops at 70, the CDI rev restricts it, im sure if i put a new CDI onto it it'd go faster, ciaow for now :)hope this helps (btw sym dd50 are about 500 quid second hand :P |

- 25/10/02 Beats a scooter anyday lads. Is something as sexy as this not worth carrying you helmet around with you??? |

- 19/06/02 RS50 has quite a few disadvantages:
no helmet storage
you look like a twat on a bike that only goes at 30 when it looks like it should do 200!
my advice: get a peugeot speedfight |
