Disadvantages: Clutch can't take the pressure

This is a nice bike to ride on the road. It handles very well. I bought one six weeks ago and have run it in well. I took it off road for the first time the other day and burnt the clutch out. I wasn't doing anything I haven't done before. I had a YZ 125 not so long ago and that never failed.The RX has plenty of power for the road but I don't really think it has enough power to be climbing steep stoney climbs off road. Hence why the clutch got a good hammering. All other off road terrain the RX handles well. I've never known a clutch to go so fast before. One minute I was riding then it started slipping and then it was gone. Reliability on the road is very good and off road also handles very well. But I wouldn't ever recommend an rx to someone for off roading.

Summary: Don't buy an RX 125 for off roading
