Aprilia RS250:
... thought I had better share my brief affair of 6 months with a 1995 Aprilia RS250. I am not going to bother going through the specs - you can get that info from numerous websites. When reading reviews it is important to understand what the product is like to live with on a daily basis and find out what it does well and what it doesn t do so well. so....................... I bought one just for a bit of fun over t... Read the full review: Exotic Italian 2 Stroke by yackers1 |

Aprilia SR 50 WWW ... are two types of SR50 Scooters made onwards of 2005. One version is just the normal SR50, this has a Morini made engine and a carburettor. However, the Ditech model also has a Morini engine, but it doesn t have a carburettor, it uses direct injection. The exact model that I am reviewing is a 2005 SR50 R. All SR50 models from 2005 onwards are almost identical in look and engine, they had a redesign in 2005 and haven t changed since. The R at the end doesn t mean much, neither does the WWW in some models. To start off, I got the bike for £700 in very good condition. A few problems were: Rusty Exhaust Cracked rear left fairing Starting Problems The rusty exhaust wi... Read the full review: The SR50 is great by calumneilson |

Aprilia SR125 ... is THE 125 scooter of choice in my opinion. it uses the 125 piaggio block which is found in the gilera runner 125 s, which has a vast range of malossi aftermarket parts including a 180cc kit, as opposed to the usual 172 kit for 125 s. If you are huge into scooter modding you will love this scooter, unfortunately you have to be 17 to legally ride up to a 125. it has plenty of torque if you full throttle accelerate, and is a highly reliable engine, even when tuned. it uses the same frame and plastics as the early sr 50 s so body parts are nt hard to find. it handles very well around corners and can accelerate strongly out of corners. i would definately reccomend... Aprilia SR 50 DITECH ... to the Morini based SR50 carb model (ditech is also morini but with injectors) the ditech does have a few reliability issues, which admitidly Aprilia have worked on and mainly corrected with the piaggio based SR50R factory ditech and 2009 sr50 purejet. if looked after and kept stock, it is generally reliable, and has excellent fuel compumption, of around 200km to a tank. the main problem with the morini ditech is the injector has a tendancy to pack up, which is a pain to correct, and usually invoves buying a brand new genuine injector from aprilia. top speed on a stock ditech (derestricted) is around 60mph, after re mapping the injector. Riding around town it ma... Read the full review: Sr 50 Ditech reliability by the_reaper |
