... RS50 about a year ago privately for £1500. It was in excellent condition and looks superb - without a doubt the best 50cc bike money can buy. It already had a performance exhaust and air filter fitted and can reach about 65mph. Aprilia Leonardo 250 ... Aprilia Leonardo 250. Here is my review on my 250 Leo. Firstly before this 250 I owned an Aprilia SR125 scooter which I loved but it was very thirsty if ridden fast, 35mpg, dont let anyone tell you 50mpg+ they are not being truthful, also they take a good 90 seconds to warm up and if its raining thats a long time to be going nowhere. Its also a four stroke so no messing about with 2 stroke oil, I always keep a couple of gallons in my garage in a spare can and top the scooter up at home, every time I go to ASDA in the car I fill up my can, the reason is the filler cap on the Leo is down between your feet under a locked cover and its difficult to see how much is... Aprilia RS50 ... have had mine now for a month and LOVE it! It has the 80cc kit in it and the Arrow exchust.The break in period is about 300 miles before you feel comfortable going approx.65mph.It handles curves very nicely and you have to be alittle bit on top of the bars when going through turns at high speed,as far as body language goes.You can either "knee" drag or not.This bike is a blast to ride and folks don t know what it is as far as CC s.Get s a lot of looks and smiles! Aprilia Scarabeo 100 ... like the four stroke motor, and the auto transmission seems to be set up really well . Lighting is excellent at night Overall a really nice scooter with good riding position , the suspension is a good balance between soft and hard ,and evens out most road surfaces . Braking is really good , ideal in my opinion. If you buy this scooter you NEED a top box ,as this is almost nowhere for luggage , Aprilia make a matching top box for this scooter Any disadvantages -you need to like the retro scooter look ,its not racy looking at all.!! ...
