Advantages: looks (raptor 125), performance, (derestricted), can find the odd decent 2nd hand one.

Disadvantages: mmmm...anything here is just picky. If you want a faster bike pass your full test.

highly recommended (Raptor 125 is latest version and much better looking). Check out black and grey version as is much nicer. Only purchase if in good condition, maintained well and derestricted. 100mph and quick to accelerate when gears are used correctly, which are well spaced. Ultimate around town learner legal only direct competitor is the Aprilia Tuono (ugly headlight section!). Mito and RS125 are not much quicker and they are slower than they appear so they are the laughing stock of riders who have passed their full license. This baby doesnt pretend to be what its not. I get more nods from mature riders than I did when I had my Mito. Take care of it and you will be rewarded.

Oh, by the way, the CBR125r has awful first to second gear ratio and is so wafer thin its embarrassing, a decent Aprilia RS costs a mint to buy and maintain, the Sachs XT125 is a deathtrap in the wet due to weight distribution over the front end being too much. Ive tried them all!
