... adjustment its hard to alter. having said that it is only when i start pushing it that i notice. i've read on some forums about things you can do to improve the handling so maybe this is the answer. I also think Cagiva have improved the handling on newer bikes The last point is the finish on the bike, some of the nuts and bolts have gone a little furry or rusted and the fork legs are getting a little pitted. I don't ride it in the wet either. I guess these italian beautys don't like the british weather....more

i have owned an '01 raptor 1000 for two tears now and all in all its been a very good bike. I first of all got one because of the low seat height, as i'm 5'2" its a very good advantage. i've been riding for 7 and years and wanted something with a bit of punch and this bike was ideal. The motor (suzuki TL1000) is amazing, it's in my opinion one of the best v-twin motors out there, good amount of power without being scary and a good dollop of torque. its fast enough for a naked bike anyway.
