I didn't think much of scooters, as I'm such a tough hard-core motorcycle racer guy, with years of track and street experience on some pretty powerful, big machines. But my wife wanted a scooter so she could "wear cute shoes" and ride. My boss had a leftover 2001 with some crash damage from a test ride ("Why are dealers too cheap to give test rides?") that he gave me for almost his cost. I have the air-cooled version of this moped and am highly impressed with its reliability and performance. The Atlantis is a 50 cc two-stroke twist and go moped. Shortly after I spotted an ad in the paper, a brand new derbi atlantis selling for ?1200(bargin), the reason for it being so cheap was because it was won in a raffle and the winners returned it to the dealer as they had no use for it and wanted a quick sale. When I got the scooter home I was amazed at what a bargin I had got features included cigarette mobile phone charger ... Read the complete review
