Advantages: great for many applications

lots of my friends have runner 50's and i've always wondered why.........because the runner 50 can take a 125 block!!!! the 125 engine is amazing for a 125 scooter, possibly the number one tuner scooter out at the moment.

malossi have a range over aftermarket upgrades for the runner 125:
mhr gas shock
reed blocks
180cc big bore
mhr pipe
mhr over range kit
and many more!!!!

many projects on scootershack.co.uk are infact runner 125's, showing just how popular they are...they have a powerful, yet reliable engine that makes it popular with young/new riders.

for the other side of the riders' spectrum, the stunt riders, this is again a great bike. they are very easy to set up for low down/mid power suitable for this application..."12 o'clock" bars are relatively easy to source and fit in place of the standard grab rail.

overall it is a brilliant bike with relatively low break down rate.
