I purchased a Gilera Runner 125sp today and i'm very happy with it - even though I just flew off it! This was purely my own fault as i'm an inexperienced driver who was trying to get a feel for the scooter and ended up getting a feel for the road too...

If you're a newbie to scooters or motorcycles, please realise that, even though you may have the urge to pull the rev right back, it's not a good idea until you have had some good training on a bike. The Runner 125sp (2 stroke) is a very powerful bike in terms of acceleration, and if you're new to riding go as slow as possible before trusting yourself to go all out.

Luckily i'm ok, but I have slighly damaged the bike :o( The left wing mirror has to be replaced and I've cracked the right-side casing......sorry, I just slipped into slight depression for a second or two there!

Anyway, the scooter is great, and I don't mean to insult anyones intelligence with this warning, but I thought it might help those (like me) to be more careful when first riding their scooter.
It may be a 125, but it certainly flies like a bullet.
