My bike is a parralel import - i saved £400 - and the only differaces are its speedo is in kph and its a one colour paint job (and all the better looking for it). I bought I runner 125VX (4 stroke) scooter about 4 months ago and I have been very pleased with it and would never consider swapping it for any other 125 on the market. I previously had a gilera spk 50 and could only do 45mph (governed) so once I was 17 I went for the runner 125 and I cant say I haven?t had any (minor) problems with it such as the ... The daddy of all 125 scooters If you like scooters you will love the gilera runner. I work at Midland Scooter Centre in Nottingham and this is the best scooter I have ever ridden. Its does everything what you expect and more, a standard runner 125 is capable of around 70mph, excellent handling with some good tires e.g. ... Read the complete review

What a scooter........I had a honda 125 and on mates advice changed it for a 125sp. As i knew the mechanic who sold me it i asked him to derestrict the bike. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and 115 mph........cant say i have had handling problems with it but would never swap it for nothing else. I purchased a Gilera Runner 125sp today and i'm very happy with it - even though I just flew off it! This was purely my own fault as i'm an inexperienced driver who was trying to get a feel for the scooter and ended up getting a feel for the road too... ive just recently got a Runner 125, and it is amazing, its the scooter which thinks its a motorcycle, it is designed for the most demanding of young sporty drivers, and that is what it is, it demands you to ride it (if you dare) and it is the most sporty scooter on the market. Gilera is one of only a few manufacturers to step out of the ... Read the complete review

I love my Gilera Runner! Its got a few scratches on at the moment because of a little accident I had in the snow, but maybe one day I will replace the panels. It certainly doesnt affect the performance though. It can outrun even the fastest sports cars from stationary, although it cannot keep up at high speed. Its top speed is about 65mph ... Well, what can be said for my wee Runner 125? I've had it for a couple of years now and its done everything from daily commutes to motorways to Eire, Scotland and England. It does about 70mph, or 80 if you really tuck in behind the screen! Add on another 5-10mph for downhill and you can imagine how much fun this mere 125 ... Read the complete review

This is with out doubt the best scooter on the market. The 125 version can easy reach speeds of upto 70 mph which make it ideal for short moterway trips. The bike also aas a lot of street cred as not only as it got great speed but is a very relaxing bike. After riding your mates scooter you will think yours is a rolls royce. This scooter only cost ... If your looking for a scooter that is comfy and doesnt look like the others then the Runner is a definite. This 125 can go upto 75mph when pushed and feels great doing it. The brakes are good enough for a scooter and the handling although heavy when still is very good. It has a nippy little engine with good response as would any scooter ... Read the complete review

I just wanted to say that this is a great motorbike. It is very quick off the mark. It has a 2 stroke engine (which means you need to re-fill the 2 stroke engine oil every 300 miles), BUT is is a faster machine because of it. 4 stroke engines are generally quieter and do not require oil, BUT are slower. It all depends in what are your ... Read the complete review
