I have been riding bikes for years and I thought long and hard about which scooter to buy to commute on and finally decided on the Gilera 180 runner.For anyone with a full bike licence it is the ideal commuting or second bike .
It's easy to ride and easily does 90 mph and is happiest doing 60mph where it cruises along. It's great for the open road and dual carraige way. For a scooter it road holding capabilities cannot be faulted.
It's a powerful bike for its size and one person is easily carried. The seating is comfy for rider and pillion although when carrying two largish people it can be a little uncomfortable.It has a compartment under the seat to store your helmet and/or small items of shopping. It also comes with leg warming air vents which I haven't needed to use as yetr
As you would expect from a make like Gilera the build quality is excellent and the braking capabilities are good enough to stop this scotter mid flight.If you have a bike licence it is well worth the extra money to upgrade from a 125 as the running and insurance costs are the same.
