I bought my Gilera Runner DD 50cc motor scooter just over a year now and have been pleasantly surprised with it. I bought it to mainly use when the car wasn't available but have found myself using it more and more recently. I know you see a lot of scooters on the roads these days - many of which seem to be holding the traffic up but not mine. It will go comfortably at 50mph and a bit faster if needed which is an ideal speed for travelling back and forth to work. The petrol costs are really good and insurance is ok. As long as you have a full motor vehicle licence you don't even need to do any bike training. An excellent alternative to the motor vehicle for short journeys to work
