... of my friends have runner 50 s and i ve always wondered why.........because the runner 50 can take a 125 block!!!! the 125 engine is amazing for a 125 scooter, possibly the number one tuner scooter out at the moment. malossi have a range over aftermarket upgrades for the runner 125: mhr gas shock reed blocks 180cc big bore mhr pipe mhr over range kit and many more!!!! many projects on scootershack.co.uk are infact runner 125 s, showing just how popular they are...they have a powerful, yet reliable engine that makes it popular with young/new riders. for the other side of the riders spectrum, the stunt riders, this is again a great bike. they are very easy to set ...

YOU need to be able to count on your machine to start and go what you want it to when you need it to do that. After much research, and observation, i settled for the Runner. I decided to go with 50 cc cosidering the fact that the performance of my old Vespa was fine and it only had 40. TO my surprise, the speed and acceleration nealy doubled wh i had on my Vespa. TOp speed were attained before i could bling, i about 5 seconds, and the acceleration was so much that on my first tryoutof the bike, i performe...

... bought my gilera runner180 in spain £1600 new. Kept it two years and did 10000 miles. Fantastic machine, very fast have had an indicated 150 kmph no problem. Will cruise at 70mph two without trouble. It handles well is very quick of the mark, 50 t0 80 mph in a flash. just a little tall for me could only just get my toes down solo but ok with a pillion. reliability 100%, the longest journey i did was 195m, mostly used it for shopping trips of 6 or 7 miles. Drove it fairly hard , and was very happy with it, however my wife was not so keen, and i sold it and bought a new car. Can t make up my mind wheather to buy the new vxr 200 or go for a bigger bike, as i don t believe ...
