Advantages: Classic Harley Styling, Dress it up/Strip it down, Hey, it's a Harley!

Disadvantages: They're not giving it away, Quintessential Mid-life Crisis Bike, There are a lot of Black ones out there already

I came off of a 1998 Honda ACE 1100 Tourer, the Japanese Road King wanna-be. For years people would admire my bike and then ask me "Hey, what year is that Harley?", to which I would sheepishly -- but pridefully -- reply, "Actually, it's manufactured by Honda." They would politely say "Oh", and walk away. I loved my Honda -- it just wasn't a Harley!

With the Road King Classic, variety and possibility is the name of the game. With the right accessories, it is a full-on dresser. But in just the same way, strip off the windshield and set up with a solo seat and you've got a sweet boulevard cruiser to make heads turn and fellow bikers nod in approval.

Hey, we all start out with bikes we can afford and, for a while, love. But, if you can pull the Euros together, nothing beats a Harley -- and there's a reason this one is the one they called the Road King Classic... it's the King of the Road -- and check out those wide white walls!! Get one and enjoy!
