Well, never ridden but it the bike that got me to go out and take my test 5 years ago.

When I lived in Witney. I was coming into town with my wife and this guy pulls up on this horse sized bike. He had all the gear, full faced helmet, kevlar jacked sat astride a Dakar Rally type machine. It was the African twin in full desert attire. 750 cc Honda lump putting out about 50 BHP. The suspension just looks like it will go on for ever.

I just stood there watching this cool dude, side stand down then off with the helmet. He must have been 65 if a day. I could not believe it, he was an OAP on a dream bike enjoying life to full. I chuckled to myself and decided there and then to get my Motorbike licence. I wanted to ride a bike in my Sixties too.

African Twin, Big And I Mean BIG Trailie offering suburb forward vision for the rider, ideal for commuting and town traffic. Can be had for less than £2K second hand now. 50 mpg. 50 BHP, Honda reliability, soft as mush suspension and medico breaks. Worth every penny!
