The CB1000 is a great all round bike, it will take you touring for 1000's of miles or go round the twisties, of course it wont beat your Blades and R1's but its a total different bike. I owned one for about a year. As I am a tad over 6' 3" and a 19 stone weakling, it suited me well. Yes, it is heavy to pick up and potter on, so best not to drop it really!
