I have now owned my 650 Deuville for just over 4 years. The bike a W reg parallel import had only 5000ks 3200 miles on the clock and cost less than £2000.Brilliantly reliable, economical, sure footed but slightly under powered two up, our combined weight is 21 stone. I would not advise two heavyweights to buy if they want rapid acceleration.Removing the plastic for servicing is a pain but once you reach the valves they are easy to adjust.I have now done 25000 miles and they have needed adjustment only once. Tyres last 6000 miles rear 7000 front I normally use Conti Force.I have found the Honda touring screen to be a very worthwhile purchase along with a fenda extenda. The deauville is a great bike for the smaller roads of the shires but slightly under powered for fun on motorways.

After a lay-off of 25 years, I decided to get a comfortable reliable bike, and the Deauville seemed to fit the picture. It was a shock to realise the power and weight of bikes nowadays, but within a few miles it felt good to be on two wheels again. Within minutes I was no longer frightened of it! The Deauville has all the controls ... Read the complete review

I wanted a shaft drive as I hated the messing with the chain and the mess, a chain and oil makes of the back wheel. I wanted less top end as I lose my self control when I'm in a hurry. ... My pals wanted to have a whip round for a beige cardigan and slippers for me when they heard of my purchase. The last laugh is on them when we have ridden 300 miles and they are complaining of aching limbs and white fingers. I am as fresh as a daisy and begging to carry on. Ok it is no track bike, but it makes up for any ... Read the complete review

I've been commuting with the Deauville for an year now, plus a few days out around Britain. Never had a problem, always a smooth run, even 2 up + baggage. If you are a hi-performance freak, you are in the wrong place. This bike is made for reliability, comfort and easy going. So, if the engine is not a rocket, you've got ... Read the complete review
