Advantages: The best bike Honda have produced yet!

Disadvantages: Not everyone can afford one :-(

My previous experience of motorcycle riding over the past 12 years has covered Just about every work horse out there. I average about 60k miles per year in all weathers and terrains in the UK and boy have I worked through enough bikes over the years. I have been known to crack the whip here and there and to do a 1500 mile trip over a single weekend so please believe me – I know what makes a good bike.

The best bike I have ever ridden is the ST1100 Pan European Full Stop! This machine has recently replaced my beloved Yamaha XJ900. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my XJ did over 80k miles on her, its just some knob in a green Toyota had a close encounter with me and the XJ came off the worst!

Back to the plot, The Pannie is just so easy to glide/race/cruise along with. You wont believe how quickly this lump of a bike screeches up to 60 (don’t forget to change into second gear at this point) and how it is cheaper to run at high speed! The comfort, heated legs and hands (no kidding), amazing protection from the elements and superb handling makes it surreal to ride and with the petrol tank below the seat it isn’t top heavy like it looks. You won’t find a better bike.

Forget all the opinions you hear – you surely don’t want to read 12 pages of why you should get one, simply take one out for a test drive and experience it for yourself. Fancy a Sports Tourer/Cruiser/Work Horse, forget it – save wasting years of your life on toys and get yourself a Pan!

Summary: A Pan is for life!

You're right I don't want to read 12 pages about the Pan but more info/detail than what's been included here would be helpful with such things like servicing and running costs etc.

Personall y, I'm in 2 minds about the Pan. I used to ride this a lot in my line of work but my own bike is a Triumph Trophy 1200, which, on balance, I slightly prefer, even if it is chain drive.

Welcome to Dooyoo. Don't worry about the fact that it says No on the recommended box as there is a fault with the site and all reviews show this now whether you click the yes box or not.
