Despite most of the scooter range being 4 strokes (2 stroke engines produce twice as much power and are more economical) kymco's 4 stroke engines are highly efficient and reliable and will last practically forever!! the downside to kymco's 4 strokes?? generally slow top speed and acceleration compared to 2 stroke engines like the minarelli and piaggio 2 strokes used in european mopeds.
The kymco gp125 (which isnt on the list) put it this way....I'D HAVE ONE!!!!! they are immense, again its a four stroke, highly reliable, highly efficient, and brilliant performance to be honest, if you wanted to you could possibly fit and aftermarket can on it for just a tad bit more power, but it doesnt need it to be honest.
Overall...Kymco's are just generally great bikes and i would highly reccomend them (apart from the 4 stroke mopeds)
Summary: buy one!!!!!!!! 9/10

- 27/09/08 Kymco are based in Taiwan. You could start a war if you called it China!
General opinion is that 2-strokes use more fuel than 4-strokes, sometimes a lot more. |
