Advantages: Unique, Lovely Handling, Low Maintenance
Disadvantages: Poor Lights, Restricters do power and speed, instead of just speed
I bought a 2nd hand Aerox for 1000 euro and i must say it wasnt in the best of condition. The Headstock was all messed up but i got that fixed for 150 euro. Since then its been the best moped i could hope for. I got it derestricted and it was the fastest bike in my Area. Lovely smooth handling and very qwik breaks, the reaction time is as it should be, not even milliseconds. Its sleek look, and its style is very original. The lights though are poor at best, and the mirrors are quite small but with most bikes, dont trust your mirrors! The Aerox is a fantastic bike for a beginner, but when u hit something, man do you hit it. Yesterday *May 9th*, a car crossed my path in a traffic jam, with no indications or anything, and i could do nothing to stop from careering into the side of his front panel... My Aerox went straight up on its nose and slid for abt 2 feet, i flew and did a somersault and landed about 10 feet from where my bike was. I have a broken right toe but thats all, so i am lucky, even though its a 50cc, the gravel/tarmac is definitely not forgiving. Now my bike is a complete write off and i am praying that the Accident investigators here in Ireland will see that it was the drivers fault and not mine coz i only have third party. The Damage on the bike is the headset is scractched and cracked, the front panel is scratched from sliding, the mudguard disintegrated, the foot rest on the right side and the under panel cracked and broke, the tail light broke band the front side panelling that says AeroxR doesnt say AeroxR anymore...and finally, the damn headstock/forks are bent into a 45 degree angle. I obeyed the 2 second rule, and i wore a bike jacket and full face helmet, i was only doing 25mph MAX in the traffic and that is what can happen. I really miss my Aerox now, i loved every minute of riding it, and if my insurance doesnt hike up, i will get myself a new one. So all in all, its a great bike, too bad
about the fairings, they are all kinda interconnected...the right side breaks...well it happens to be connected to the left side too, so thats about 150euro for a new one :( Learners, enjoy the bike, keep it real, always concentrate and for god sake please wear all the protective gear, even if it is a moped, coz the chances of me surviving that accident without a PROPER helmet and jacket were slim to none...

I got a new Aerox...paid more for this one, but it almost perfect, got it checked by a mechanic and only consumables were in need of replacement, like the back tyre and pads!
Its a really fast ride, still under warrant
