Advantages: very fast, cheap tax and insurance, some free bees

Disadvantages: costly if needing repairs

I have a yamaha yq50 and i think its the best scooter ever, it goes up to 60 miles per hour, its very comforting to ride, and of course tax and insurance are very cheap, tax is 15.00 for 12 months and insurance is about 200.00 per year which works out at about 20.53 a month. When i bought this it was quit expensive in a 19 year olds eyes it was 2343.24 with all the bits and bobs..... allthough saying that they only gave me the insurance, tax and a helmet. Scooters are good in the fact that you only need a provisional driving licence and a CBT test witch i went through that at ACE at County Durham, for me with this being my first bike and not the last it was quit a quick sale and the pick up was in about 3 days. Ive got some problems with mine the electic start doesnt work anymore, the back brake light doesnt work and the temperature gauge is no longer working, was quoted at kens motorcycles on the west road in newcastle that it would cost 150.00 to repair all these things and i thought that was quit cheap, for the three years i have had this i think it is relativley good that only minor things have happened to my bike and since i was little all my family have had yamahas and they are the most reliable bikes around.
