Advantages: affordable mean machine

Disadvantages: big but it's manageable, easily

This bike is the best my husband and I have ever had!
We have had well into double figures by now and this one is the best!
It's a 1989 G reg 1000cc EXUP and it was painted in Benetton colours when we bought it 4 years ago. It's just had a new paint job in just red and yellow and it looks just as good as all the new bike and it stands us at next to nothing moneywise.
We have a Fireblade rear seat unit on it, Thunderace forks and suspension and an R1 nose fairing so it's kinda hard to tell what it is really, but underneath all that, is Yamaha's mean machine 1000EXUP engine with all the grunt and roar of a newer bike and equally as fast!
If you get the chance to buy one secondhand in good nick, do it!
My husband is only 5 ft 6 and he manages on it, so don't be put off by it's size!!
