I have a 4month old Peugeot Elystar 125,with this supposedly fantastic electronic fuel injection system,the bike has only 7000 kms on the clock and has been back at the dealership for over 14days now,they are still trying to find out the problem,so far it has cost me 450€ to hire a bike and this goes on daily until i get mine back.The warning light did not come on to tell me there was a problem with the injection system or the electronics,but they say thats where the fault lies.The hire bike is a Piaggio Beverly 125 and to be honest it is a far superior and cheaper bike than the Elystar.In my opinion don't touch the Elystar,the mechanics in the dealerships obviously ...

I bought a Peugeot Elystar 125 last December, and I found it to be a perfect bike for whizzing around and through the traffic. It has an ABS synchro-dual break system which is what you need in a wet floor. The engine is very lively and goes easily to 70mph. The good thing is that there are not many of them on the road like vespa bikes, so the uniqueness is still there even after a year. As for the riding and handling, I must say that compare to my previous scooter; an Italjet Formula, it is slower but a lot more comfortable and bends low round the corners.
