I bought a Peugeot Elystar 125 last December, and I found it to be a perfect bike for whizzing around and through the traffic.
It has an ABS synchro-dual break system which is what you need in a wet floor. The engine is very lively and goes easily to 70mph. The good thing is that there are not many of them on the road like vespa bikes, so the uniqueness is still there even after a year.
As for the riding and handling, I must say that compare to my previous scooter; an Italjet Formula, it is slower but a lot more comfortable and bends low round the corners.
The only down side is the high position of the seat. i.e if you are a bit on the short side, then it is a bit of struggle at traffic lights. But then again you get used to it quite quickly.
I had recent problem with my dealer, where they put too much oil into the engine and as a result the power was almost halfed! It took another dealer, 6 weeks to figure out what on earth was the problem and finally they got it fixed and it feels like a brand new bike again!
