piaggio B125 (Piaggio B125)
Member Name: davedish
Advantages: safety, comfort/ride, economical Disadvantages: accessories(getting them)
I traded up to a B125 in April 2003,having previously had a 50cc typhoon. The bike is a great ride and being a hi-wheeled scoot is also safer. The digital clock/computer is a fantastic addition and the instrument panel/lighting is one of the best Ive seen. I commute every day on it and found it excellent on juice. I sometimes feel like carrying on past work, its such an enjoyable ride! Is there a downside you ask? Well, yes. Only on the accessories side. I ordered a top box for my scoot at the same time(a large helmet will not fit under the seat) after numerous phone calls and e-mails, 6 months later I received it! (cost £150) My dealer was waiting on sole distributors in Bristol to get their act together and they in turn were waiting on Piaggio (Italy) to deliver some! I was told they didnt know what would be in the container from Italy. They just "get what theyre given !" I was considering side panniers also, but have decided to give that a miss! Oh,nearly forgot. They beat me in the end anyway, the screws were missing from my top box assy. kit! GREAT BIKE THOUGH. Summary: |
