Advantages: looks nice, plenty of storage and reasonably priced

Disadvantages: cheaply made, you really are advised to buy the extra warrantry if its an option

I absolutely love my Skipper when it is going, i find it easy to ride, i think it looks nice and even had a thumbs up by a kid that saw me on it he said "nice bike". it has loads of storage which is a big plus for me,although the underseat is not quite big enough for my helmet, it will fit in the backbox and the backbox comes as standard.

But beware it is cheaply made to the extreme, i bought the warranty (thank goodness) and it has probably been in the garage about 6 times in the 18 months that i have had it.
The clock on it is as useful as a chocolate teapot, i have had it replaced about 3 times and now it has gone wrong again i wont bother getting them to do it again, i wonder why they bother really as i can get by without it even though its nice to have! my husband put a waterproof watch on it that he got from the pound shop and that works very well. The exhaust is also very rusty, and became so almost immediately. At the time of writing this it is again in the garage, i went on a little biker hol and rode it around the Isle of Wight for a week, since i have been back the battery keeps discharging itself, which is very annoying, as i bought a new battery thinking that was the problem, but it is still happening, and so it looks like its something else going wrong.
Despite all this i really love this bike and i am not put off Piaggios, i just wish that they had made it more hardwearing.

Buy the extended warrantry, but may not be any good for reliability
