Piaggio Vespa ET4:
... ve owned a second hand Vespa et4 for over 6 months now and loved every minute of it! Personally id like a geared Vespa but to scared to get out there and learn gears so am stuck to an automatic. Personally I can t understand why people are claiming that et4s are slow on the go off but ive never had this problem which may be due to individual differences of the scooters or because im little and quite light. The oth... Read the full review: A great little scooter! by *Scooter Baby* |

Piaggio Skipper 125 ... on it that he got from the pound shop and that works very well. The exhaust is also very rusty, and became so almost immediately. At the time of writing this it is again in the garage, i went on a little biker hol and rode it around the Isle of Wight for a week, since i have been back the battery keeps discharging itself, which is very annoying, as i bought a new battery thinking that was the problem, but it is still happening, and so it looks like its something else going wrong. Despite all this i really love this bike and i am not put off Piaggios, i just wish that they had made it more hardwearing. Buy the extended warrantry, but may not be any good for reliability... The model I bought had 8000K on the clock, so performance was not as good as it could have been, but as I understand newer models have no such problem. Obviously after a time the bike needed a service, and at £65 including VAT I cannot complain at the price. But what astounded me was the difference a new spark plug and new oil can really make. In this respect, the Zip is a remarkabe machine - with the bare minnimum of expense, it remains a reliable, safe and quick mode of transportation. The only c... Vespa GT200 ... name is Claudia Cardinale, and 2 years and 12 thousand km down the track and I still love her. I bought her on the day I arrived in Berlin from New Zealand and have used her most days since - weather and snow ( or lack of ) permitting. She was always my first choice of motor scooters - chosen because of style, history, as well as more profane reasons such as power, exhaust emissions etc. The other choice was a Gilera Runner - no contest on the style stakes. Reliability - never, ever have I had a problem. She always starts on the first or second push of the starter - even after she has been stored for 6 weeks in a garage through minus 19deg. temperatures. Riding her...
