Piaggio Vespa ET4:
... have owned a 2005 Vespa ET8 150cc for a couple of years now. The ET8 is a re-badged ET4. Four is considered unlucky by some cultures and the eight is lucky. She is the ideal city scoot and is my daily ride around bumper to bumper Auckland roads. The benefits of biking far outweigh any draw backs. Being the first at the lights and free parking almost everywhere is awesome. Even the Harley riders envy me in the ci... Read the full review: It is like flyiing by Paul Kendon |

Piaggio Skipper 125 ... the engine the other week for a customer. he said it was maxxing out at ten. upon examination of the old engine, he had over filled the oil, and it had leaked into the transmission case and onto the belt... what have we learnt? not to over fill skippers >.< it is a typical cheap scooter, built for the soul purpose of getting from A to B. the plastics are cheap and all held together by eachother, which makes it a pain to remove. despite those problems it is actually a good 4 stroke moped. brilliant pickup, once the carb is sorted, and good top speed. the only thing i dont like is that it has the tiniest air box in the world, with a huge intake into the box... Piaggio X9 ... me bring the bike to them to be looked at. As it turned out, if they were familiar with the product, the questions could have been answered over the phone. I basically rode there, had a guy take a quick look (not taking anything apart) and rode home. Maybe this just means that they don t see a lot of these vehicles coming back into their shop...? Another annoyance: I once emailed a question to Piaggio from their website and never recieved a response. These things are concerns, but in relation to the overall performance of this product, they don t seem to be major things. This is a great scooter for comfortable and safe local or distance riding, whether you re an beg... Read the full review: the lady likes it. by lulu |

Piaggio Typhoon 125 ... since first riding a typhoon 125 i ve always wanted one. the accelleration and speed are unrivalled, the manouvreability on this machine is great and its as light as a feather. i recently sold my gilera runner vx and got a typh and the differences are blatently obvious, the 2 stroke typh would eat the 4 stroke gilera for breakfast its much quicker off the mark and top end, its just as if not comfier which came as a surprise seen as the gilera boasts upsidedown forks and dual springs at the rear, i guess those chunky typhoon wheels play a part in this. the typhoon is not as economical on the petrol, mind you it doesnt hold as much fuel (around £5 compared with £8-9 on...
